The Governors of this highly successful and over-subscribed mixed 11-18 Specialist Science College are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Deputy Head of Maths to support the Head of Department with Maths across the school. 

St Gregory’s has been identified by OFSTED in March 2019 as an outstanding school in all areas of its practice; by the DfE as a National Lead Behaviour School and by the SSAT as a High Attaining School. In 2023, 33% of all A level grades were A*-A, 72% were A*-B and 95% were A*-C. At GCSE, pupils attained 33% Grade 7+, 67% Grade 5+ and 82% Grade 4+.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate initiative and will have the energy and skills to inspire colleagues with their passion for their subject and inspire learning across the curriculum. You will be an effective team player with the focus to ensure successful outcomes within the department.
