Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the Governing Board to appoint a dynamic and inspiring Deputy Head Teacher to assist with leading our vibrant and caring School.

Governors wish to appoint an inspirational, ambitious and strategic leader who can build on the many strengths of the school and work in partnership with our recently appointed Head Teacher and governors to progress the school’s journey to Outstanding.  Our OFSTED in February 2019 confirmed that we are a GOOD school with much to offer our pupils and school community.

The successful candidate will lead our pupil welfare, behaviour and support team and have a proven track record in working with vulnerable pupils. The role will involve working in partnership with school leaders, classroom based staff, parents, pupils and other professionals to address barriers to learning and ensure that all pupils are able to engage with education.

You are welcome to visit the school and can arrange this by telephoning and speaking to the School Business Manager, Linzi Tomlin on 0191 917 1685.

An Application pack is available online or by email to dionne.hall@nsprimary.org.uk

Please visit the school website www.nsprimary.org.uk and the school twitter account @nsprimary for further information about us.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
