About Us

ISP has a school based on a beautiful farm in Kent. We offer a safe, warm, friendly environment that helps children and young people learn and reach their potential. We enjoy working closely with parents and carers to achieve this. We have a dedicated, enthusiastic and experienced team who offer a unique range of support to vulnerable and challenging young people. We pride ourselves on the community feel that our school offers. The school offers a therapeutic approach, ensuring that the children’s health and wellbeing needs are met and this includes support from Speech and Language Therapy.

Many of our pupils have not been able to thrive in other educational settings. We welcome children who are in foster care, or who live with their parents. All our pupils have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). They may also have other complex needs.

What we need

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Deputy Head Teacher who can help replicate and improve on the good and outstanding outcomes at our innovative school in Kent.

The ideal candidate will be committed to our success and able to demonstrate outstanding leadership skills, a flexible approach to teaching, and strong financial management capability. Previous experience of working and managing within a SEN environment is essential.

The key areas of responsibility for the appointee will be strategic leadership, curriculum management, staff and resource management, and accountability for success and attainment.

If you would like to find out more about this post or our School, please contact Carole Cox (Head Teacher) on 01795 523 900.

To be considered for this post please make an application and we will be in touch to discuss.
