Le Rocquier School is seeking to appoint an experienced senior leader as Deputy Head Teacher – Student Learning and Inclusion.
With the appointment of the new Head Teacher, Le Rocquier is embarking on its next phase and this role is key to the school’s success as an inclusive community school. If you have experience as a leader in the inclusion area of school life, wish to make a significant contribution to our school and want to make a positive difference to student outcomes we would like to hear from you.
This is a largest school on the Island and the successful candidate will lead a dedicated team of professionals who only want the best for our students. About Le Rocquier School
Opened in 2006, Le Rocquier School is a successful and flourishing co-educational, non-denominational 11-16 School in the Bailiwick of Jersey with outstanding facilities. The island of Jersey is a crown dependency of the United Kingdom, and situated in the English Channel. There are approximately 800 students on the school roll, along with 60 teaching staff and 50 support staff. Our inclusive school is located in the Saint Clement parish, which is located on the island’s southern coast and has a population of around 10,000.
In 2022 80% of our GCSE subjects added value at GCSE. Maths, English, Science and many, many others all exceeded expectation (adding value).
