A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an inspirational, innovative and motivational leader to become Deputy Headteacher at Millbrook Combined School.

This is an exciting time for the school. Having admitted bulge classes for the last three years in Reception, the school will be permanently expanding to three forms of entry from September 2018. In addition, an extensive building and refurbishment programme has begun. These developments have resulted from the continued success of the school.

As Deputy Headteacher you will:

  • Be an aspiring headteacher with significant leadership experience in primary schools.
  • Work with the headteacher and governing body to secure the schools place in the future landscape of education.
  • Have a passion for learning at all levels and a proven track record of ensuring outstanding progress for all groups of pupils.
  • Be committed to continuous professional development and have evidence of developing the practice of others through coaching, mentoring and training.

We are a three form entry, primary school for children between the ages of two and eleven years.

We have over 700 pupils in the school, where everyone follows the ‘Millbrook Message’ of treating everyone with friendliness and care. Despite being a larger than average sized primary school, we are proud to remain as a close knit community school.
