Job overview

We are looking for a determined existing or aspiring Deputy Headteacher to join our school. This position comes with a teaching commitment across the school so experience of teaching across the curriculum in KS1 and KS2, and an up to date knowledge of the national curriculum and age related expectations are essential. This position is a platform to build and shape your career moving towards Headship. Your expertise will not only have an impact within Glebelands Primary Academy but also across the Trust because of the collaborative way in which we work.

The successful candidate will be committed to ensuring that all our young people achieve more than they ever thought possible by being the best that they can be. We are looking for a colleague who can form high quality relationships for learning with all staff and pupils and want to appoint a school leader who will continue to lead the development of high quality individualised care and learning to ensure outstanding standards in all areas of school life.

We are seeking an ambitious and energetic professional with experience of leading teams, monitoring teaching and learning, and successfully leading improvement and raising standards. The most important thing is that you have an uncompromising passion for teaching and if you think the above describes you then we would love to hear from you.

The Diamond Learning Partnership Trust is a charitable multi-academy trust (MAT) specialising in the Primary sector. We are building a thriving community of schools that succeed on behalf of their children. Further benefits include;

  • Opportunities to train/work with other schools within the Diamond Learning Partnership and local cluster schools to share best practice and resources;
  • Centrally-run services that reduce the time-consuming administrative tasks so teachers can concentrate on educational performance.
