Location: Danecourt School, Hotel Road, Watling Street, Gillingham, Kent ME8 6AA

We are looking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic, aspirational and dynamic Deputy Headteacher to join the forward thinking and ambitious team at Danecourt School. 

We are seeking an outstanding leader who has an appetite for innovation, exceptional communication skills and who can inspire all stakeholders. With a passion for working with children with SEN and their families, you will embrace coaching approaches, be creative and flexible and, as with all staff, be non-judgmental, unconditionally accepting and highly resilient. As Deputy you will lead on teaching and learning and deputise for the Headteacher in her absence.

The position will commence 30th August 2024 and offers a unique opportunity to play a senior role in leading and developing the new satellite provisions based at two mainstream schools within the Maritime Trust.

Welcome to our School's profile. Danecourt School forms part of the Maritime Academy Trust, a multi-academy trust that is committed to making sure that education is meaningful.

Our Trust is made up of 11 primary schools located in Greenwich, Bexley and Kent. Though our schools may be different with their own in-school culture and community spirit, they all work harmoniously and collaboratively together within a curriculum that ensures each and every child is being equipped with leadership and life skills.
