Faringdon Learning Trust are looking to appoint two Deputy Headteachers for their successful primary schools at Watchfield Primary and John Blandy Primary School.

We are seeking exceptional leaders for two exciting opportunities to help shape the future of our unique primary schools within the Faringdon Learning Trust; an innovative, multi-academy trust.  We therefore require ambitious, energetic and resilient professionals with experience of leading teams, monitoring teaching and learning and successfully leading improvement to further raise standards.

We are looking for candidates:

• Who can inspire, motivate and challenge children and adults alike; 

• With a clear moral purpose; someone who knows what primary education should look like and who has the talent, flair and ability to work with the whole community to drive school improvement;

• Who will positively contribute to the delivery of the School’s strategic plan;

• Who will uphold the School Values and work towards the Schools Vision; and 

• Who works effectively as part of a team and can build positive relationships with groups of staff.


You will be: 

• An experienced senior/middle leader with a proven track record;

• Experienced in systems, strategic planning and use of data within a primary education;

• An outstanding, experienced teacher with evidence of highly successful practice; and

• A successful professional who works with originality, aspiration and resilience.
