Following the promotion of the existing post holder to Headteacher, the governors, staff and children of Brookvale Primary School wish to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Deputy to join our hard working happy team. A good sense of humour is essential.

We are looking for new Deputy Headteacher who will:

• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with high expectations of children's achievements, attainment and behaviour.
• Has a strong commitment to and has experience of, developing and embedding a pastoral ethos based on current best practice based on children’s emotional health and wellbeing.
• Has a thorough understanding of working in an area of high and multiple deprivation and the challenges this brings to the role.
• Inspire our children’s learning through a creative curriculum approach.
• Already have an in-depth working knowledge of children with SEN and emotional needs and committed to safeguarding the welfare of all children.
• Work as part of a team and lead with energy and enthusiasm.
• Be passionate about developing further initiatives to continue to move the school forward.
• Will inspire and develop further initiatives to continue to move the school forward with a particular focus upon the innovative use of technology.
