Following an internal promotion to Headship, an opportunity has arisen for an inspirational professional with outstanding leadership skills to join us from January 2019.

You will take the lead within our heavily over-subscribed and forward-looking school for all aspects of pupil behaviour and wellbeing.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and a warm, professional rapport and empathy for pupils' needs will help you to work effectively with a diverse range of individual young people.

Additionally, you will be capable of leading a team of enthusiastic, dedicated and capable teachers and support staff who work hard to ensure the best and most appropriate outcomes for our pupils, both pastorally and academically. Our 2018 KS4 examination results demonstrate excellent progress both overall and for pupils in target groups, providing confirmation of positive momentum that we are carrying forward to secure further long-term positive outcomes for all our pupils.

Northgate is an 11-18 school with first rate facilities situated on the edge of Ipswich. Northgate High School is a mainstream, state-community, co-educational, non-denominational, secondary school for children aged 11-18. It is situated in Ipswich in Suffolk and there are 1750 pupils on its roll.
