Job overview

We are seeking a talented leader who can inspire and motivate students and staff to be brave, to be kind and to shine bright.  You will work alongside the Principal as we drive rapid and sustainable improvements in provision and outcomes.  In addition, you will be a member of the Academy Leadership Team, which sets the strategic direction for the whole academy.  Significant experience of senior leadership in secondary schools is essential. Tis post carries specific responsibilities around raising standards, teaching & learning.

You will be an experienced senior leader with a proven track record of school improvement, ideally in areas of significant socioeconomic disadvantage.   You will have the skills, confidence and poise to bring out the best in teachers and support staff, while holding our students to the highest standards.  A sound understanding of school improvement strategies and current educational research are key, as well as the ability to manage change and an unwavering commitment to community transformation.

Oasis Academy Immingham is a local Ofsted rated 'Good' secondary school serving children aged 11-16. Serving the children of Immingham, our academy is dedicated to supporting each and every child by providing them with the education and skills they need to be successful in their chosen field.

Effective Support
