Purpose of the role

Trinity Academy is a highly oversubscribed free school that opened in 2019. We are a values based community that focuses on the learning of all students and staff, that cares deeply for our young people and each other and that is committed to co-curricular enrichment. Our stated goal is to be a +1 school for progress and as such, we are looking for a highly motivated, professional to join us in our mission.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of an outstanding SEND team creating a center of excellence for inclusion and achievement of SEND learners.   We are looking to appoint a highly skilled and ambitious educator, with proven leadership skills and vision to take on a vital strategic role.  

You will help the SENDCo lead the strategic direction of the SEND department as it develops and be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring SEND provision at Trinity Academy.  The successful candidate will have the ability to plan strategically, manage a team of learning support assistants, analyse data and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for on-going reflection and self-improvement.
