Gauvin House, is part of the Treloar campus. Treloar’s is one of the largest specialist Schools and Colleges in the UK for children and young people with disabilities. Our fundamental purpose is simple: to enable disabled young people to fulfil their potential in every aspect of their lives

We are currently recruiting a Deputy Team Leader for our senior school house. You will be directly responsible to the Residential Manager for the welfare and organisation of all students on the house. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to further his or her career in care. 

This is a varied role where some of your duties will be to support students with their IEP goals, writing and regularly updating care plans for students and assisting in organising cover for staff absence. You will be expected to support staff to encourage students to do as much as possible for themselves by guiding and helping them to identify the assistance they require to live as independently as possible.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in Care or Children and Young People or equivalent. You will also need relevant care experience and have good written and verbal communication skills.
