Job overview

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate

Design and Technology Teacher

to join our highly motivated and hard-working Design and Technology team.

You should be an excellent classroom practitioner and have students at the heart of your decision making.

You must also have good knowledge of the Design and Technology curriculum, the recent national changes that have taken place, and have the knowledge and experience to teaching D&T at both key stages.

We are looking for somebody who is creative and dynamic in the classroom and is able to engage a wide range of students.

This role is suitable for both NQTs, who would benefit from a comprehensive range of support and guidance, and more experienced teachers alike.

Our team has been on an exciting journey over the past two years, with D&T GCSE results increasing last year. We are driven to continue to improve these results over the coming years with the new GCSE specification.

If you are creative, can lead by example and want to work in a vibrant and progressive environment, we would love to hear from you. You will join a committed, successful and supportive team.

The Henry Beaufort School has a purpose built nursery, Henry's Kindergarten, set within the school grounds. Staff at The Henry Beaufort School are given priority at Henry's and benefit from a 10% discount.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful secondary school in which 'pupils' comments are very positive about the school. They are happy and consider there to be a strong sense of mutual respect between themselves and staff (Ofsted 2017).

Please contact the school or visit our website for further details  and an application form.
