Job overview
We are looking for a competent and resourceful technician to join our well equipped Technology Department. You will be able to work independently and on your own initiative. The main function of this role is to prepare resources and materials for classes in the technology area such as plastics or wood, ensuring sufficient stock is kept for the lessons planned. Ability to use the workshop machinery, CAD/CAM and laser cutter is desirable but training will be provided if necessary. This role would ideally suit someone with good practical and organisational skills.
Hours of work are 8.30am to 3.00pm daily Monday to Friday (30 hours weekly)
Term time only + 3 Inset Days
Level 3 Point 5 FTE £20,618 Actual salary £14,167 per annum.
