We are looking to recruit an innovative Teacher to join the Design Technology Department.
Design Technology is a popular subject across the academy and is well subscribed to study at GCSE, the uptake at A Level is also impressive. The aptitude to teach a wide range of abilities from ages 11-18 is therefore essential. The ability and enthusiasm to teach across the Design Technology disciplines with a flair and passion for the subject is crucial as well as flexibility within the department.

The Department strives for the highest standards of learning and teaching which is evident in the impressive KS4 and KS5 results which last year exceeded national averages. Our students participate in a balanced, practical-driven key stage three programme before choosing GCSE.

You will receive regular coaching sessions, 3 hours of timetabled CPD per week, as well as staff collaboration across the network. Our teachers also provided with nine free periods per week and are encouraged to use creative approaches to teaching.
