Digital Skills for Deaf adults Teacher
We are recruiting dynamic and innovative tutors to our Digital Skills and Essential Computing department. We are looking for tutors to teach one, some or all of the following courses:
a) Instant Communication through your phone and PC: WhatsApp, Skype, Google Hangouts
09/01/18- 06/02/18, 10:30-12:30
b) Designing and build your own website using free resources
15/01/18-19/03/18, 10:00-13:00
c) Making and editing videos using your phone or PC
20/02/18-13/03/18, 10:30-12:30
d) Becoming confident on your Mac
08/03/18-22/03/18, 10:00-13:00
e) Digital Communication using Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
17/04/18-05/06/18, 10:00-13:00
f) Using digital skills for finding a better job
19/04/18-07/06/18, 10:00-13:00
g) Use of Excel for home and work
20/04/18-25/05/18, 10:00-13:00
h) Use of PowerPoint for home and work
01/06/18-06/07/18, 10:00-13:00
£34.74 per hour inclusive of pro rata holiday entitlement and preparation time.

Do you have a qualification relevant to the subject and an Award in education and training (or equivalents) or are you willing to obtain one of these within the timescales specified in City Lit’s Staff Development Policy?
If you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are able to work as part of a team and have an up to date knowledge, enthusiasm and interest in the subject; this roles could be for you. A commitment to quality, health and safety, equality and diversity, customer care and safeguarding are also essential.
In this role you will be responsible for planning, teaching and evaluating courses that meet the learning needs of students in the programme area.
