Quite possibly the greatest opportunity of your career is awaiting you; the chance to design and shape innovative and creative pedagogical practice in a brand new all-through academy as a founding faculty leader. 

 King’s Academy Binfield (KAB) is looking to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic and innovative Director of Communications with an excellent track record to play an intrinsic role in our brand new all-through academy in Bracknell Forest. The school will open in a superb new building in September 2018 with Year 7, and will grow year on year to a roll of over 1800 students, aged 3-18. The primary phase and a specialist resource provision is coming on board from 2019, along with Amen Corner North (ACN), a primary school a mile away. As the school grows you will have the opportunity to appoint your own faculty members.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the strategic leadership of English, Humanities and Modern Foreign Languages across both academies; ensuring outstanding teaching leads to outstanding outcomes. Applicants should be excellent classroom teachers and have the ability to motivate, inspire and lead staff and students to excel.  The successful candidate will show great leadership potential, will be a team player, will get stuck in and involve themselves in the wider aspects academy life. A genuine commitment to our ‘whatever it takes’ ethos is essential to enable every young person at KAB and ACN to thrive.
