Our vibrant, welcoming school is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Director of Estates. This is a key position in the Bursary Leadership Team as the successful post-holder will be responsible for delivering a wide range of services including capital projects, planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance, the delivery of major and minor projects, and ensures Health and Safety compliance across the estate. 

With ambitious ideas to continually enhance the school estate and planned investment over the coming years to further develop the estate and teaching facilities, it is an exciting time to join STAHS as the Director of Estates will lead on the design and delivery of these future developments.

A proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams within a similar senior position are essential for this position. The newly appointed post-holder will possess sound knowledge of property related statutory compliance legislation along with in depth knowledge of Health and Safety procedures within a large organisation. You will be an excellent communicator and encourage innovation, sharing a creative culture of continuous improvement amongst your team and colleagues.  

This is a permanent position, offered on a full-time basis, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. The core working hours are 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday – Thursday and 8.30am – 4.30pm on Friday with a 60 minute unpaid lunch break, due to the nature of the role some flexibility is required.
