Job overview
We wish to appoint an experienced and dynamic professional who will lead the financial management of the academy with strategic vision, passion and commitment.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong, dynamic and proven track record of strategic leadership with the ability to inspire and engage the whole school community.
The key responsibilities are:
• Specific contributions regarding financial matters to the leadership of the academy and to the development and implementation of the School Development Plan.
• Leadership and management of non-classroom based support staff
• Leadership of the on-going strategic development and service delivery of:
o Financial management
o Human Resources management
o IT/Facilities
o Catering
o Community Partnership (Adult Education)
o Sports Centre

The successful candidate will:
• have experience of leadership and management including financial and payroll responsibilities
• have experience of managing a large budget and extensive capital expenditure
• be a CCAB qualified accountant
• have the ability to work strategically and seek to implement creative solutions
• be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Disclosure
