We are seeking to appoint a Director of Learning for Humanities, ideally with a Geography specialism, to join and lead the department. We are seeking an outstanding practitioner to direct the Geography and History departments, bringing with them experience, enthusiasm and the capacity to inspire and motivate students and staff.

Penketh High School is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in Warrington, Cheshire. It is an academy converter supported by a single-academy trust called Penketh Academy Trust. The school has an on-site provision called the Orchard Centre. It also has a partnership with Kwadeda High School in South Africa, with whom it made a feature film called The Opportunity. A larger than average size for a secondary school, the school will provide 1,344 places for secondary and sixth form students between the ages of 11-18.

Penketh High gained academy status in April 2013.
