Are you an exceptional leader of maths? This opportunity will enable you to make a real difference to young people’s lives at one of the country’s leading schools trusts.

Inspiration Trust is at an exciting point in its development. Twice ranked the country’s top comprehensive secondary schools group, we need a maths expert to partner a razor-sharp focus on results with our significant investment in long-term curriculum development.

This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring and high-performing leader to have a lasting impact across our schools. The successful candidate will define and deliver a vision for maths across the whole Trust, from primary to secondary and sixth form - including our Outstanding rated maths and science specialist college.

We are particularly seeking a leader with a proven track record in secondary maths, who has demonstrable experience of school improvement and is able to communicate and influence effectively at all levels. The successful candidate will understand that high impact teaching comes from a structured and sequenced curriculum and knowledge thorough teaching.

As well as working closely with existing teachers, the Director of Maths will play a key role in the shaping and delivery of the maths strands of our initial teacher training programme, inspiring the classroom leaders of tomorrow.

The role will be based at our Norwich curriculum centre but involve regular work at our schools across Norfolk and north Suffolk. The Trust may offer support with relocation costs for candidates moving from outside the area.

Closing date for applications is: Midday, October 22, 2018.
