We are looking for a senior leader with a breadth of school improvement experience to join our central multi-academy trust leadership team. This is a new role in our growing multi-academy Trust with currently 21 schools across the East of England, and it is a unique experience to extend your career and influence to a new and Trust-wide level.
Working across all phases and settings, the post-holder will secure the continued improvement of schools across the Trust through the promotion of outstanding performance at school and individual teacher level.
- offer both challenge and support of the performance and outcomes of schools and individuals across the Trust, working as part of the central team to ensure there is a clear link between support, performance management and professional learning and the on-going improvement in pupil outcomes.
- provide advice and guidance on the improvement of individual practice alongside whole school improvement issues that will be based on the development of outstanding practice across the Trust.
- identify and seek ways to share effective and outstanding practice; guide and identifying opportunities for improvement; and support the development of the School-to-School improvement model and facilitate CPD.
This is an exciting time for the Trust and its schools with, amongst developments taking place, an all age mainstream school in Cambridgeshire and our special school provision being expanded to support students with high needs for the 19-25 age group. In addition, a new primary school is opening in central Ipswich alongside the further development of the core ALT School-to-School support model.
This is a permanent post envisaged to be a full -time addition to the Trust senior leadership arrangements though some flexibility can be offered for less than full time working for the right candidate.
Salary by negotiation expected to be up to £70k for the ideal candidate. The Trust offers an attractive car allowance package, generous annual leave arrangements and membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme.
