Job overview

The Governors wish to appoint an outstanding teacher of Science to work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and the Head of Science to further develop learning in Science throughout the school. As a member of the school’s Extended Senior Leadership Team, the postholder will also take responsibility for an aspect of learning across the whole school.

Hurstmere School is a popular, non-selective secondary academy for boys aged 11 – 16, serving the local community of Sidcup. It is a special place, with a strong sense of community and a determination to succeed in all that we do. The school has approximately 1,040 students on record.
