Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional candidate to lead our outstanding PE department. We are looking for a visionary leader who is passionate about sport and able to inspire students to share that passion and dedication to achieve their best.

We are considered one of the top girls’ school for sport in the UK. Our talents are home-grown and our success stems from an inclusive programme, which ensures that all girls learn to enjoy their sport. Our team of professional and experienced PE staff aim for excellence across all disciplines.

Based on the banks of the River Ouse, Bedford Girls’ School offers excellent sporting facilities and has a track record of continued success at national and regional competitions. We support and develop the ambitions of every individual and have a number of students, each year, who represent their country at their chosen sport.
