Are you a qualified swimming coach who passionately believes in the limitless potential of children and the critical role adults play in this journey of self-realisation?

Radnor House Sevenoaks is seeking to employ such an individual to join us preferably in the Summer Term (April 24th 2019) on a part-time or full-time basis as Director of Swimming.  This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced teacher and coach to develop one of the core sports offered at Radnor House Sevenoaks for our Prep and Senior pupils. 

The selected candidate will be expected to run swimming sessions before and after school and provide swimming tuition, guidance and coaching for elite athletes, other pupils, and teams at Radnor House Sevenoaks. The position will involve identifying and nurturing potential talent within school.

Teaching and Learning at Radnor House Sevenoaks aims to create a collaborative whole-school community of life-long learners, always motivated to achieve the highest standards of teaching and learning through self-reflection, objective evaluation, and research-based practice. 

We require a candidate who can:

  • provide leadership by example
  • work positively and constructively within the PE and Games Department 
  • contribute to and participate in the development of the PE and Games Department
  • think creatively and imaginatively, investigate, solve problems and identify opportunities
  • promote our core values of excellence, respect, courage and perseverance
  • has as a minimum an ASA Level 2 Swimming qualification
