UWCSEA has a vacancy for August 2018 at its Dover Campus for a Director of Teaching and Learning. The role of Director of Teaching and Learning is to oversee and coordinate with Principals, the implementation, monitoring, evaluation and development of the UWCSEA Learning programme from K1-12 on one campus while establishing a strong working partnership with the Director of Teaching and Learning on the other UWCSEA campus. The role is to lead the research and development of the best educational practices for all aspects of curriculum development. This includes the line management of Research and Development as well as the project leadership of identified K1-12 initiatives and programme developments.
The Director of Teaching and Learning reports to the Head of Campus and is a member of the Dover Campus Leadership team (DLT) and the College Learning Leadership team (LLT) to ensure unity of purpose and foster a culture of cooperation within the Campus and the College as a whole. The Director of Teaching and Learning, or one of the School Principals may also function as Deputy Head of Campus when the Head of Campus is absent.
