Sevenoaks School is seeking an experienced leader to be responsible for fostering an exceptional service, charity, philanthropic and social entrepreneurial ethos within the school.
The teachers in charge of the school’s Service, Charity, and Social Entrepreneurship strands will report to the Director of the Institute who, in turn, will report to the Deputy Head Co-Curriculum.
The successful candidate will be a graduate and have a clear vision of the value of service and social entrepreneurship for all. They will have a proven track record in service, charity, philanthropy or social entrepreneurship. A strategic thinker, team leader and excellent communicator, they must be able to inspire pupils.
This post could be full-time, with or without some teaching, or part-time.
Sevenoaks School has a long tradition of service, having established the first school Voluntary Service Unit in the early 1960s. Service and philanthropy are central to the school’s ethos. Social entrepreneurship is a relatively new but flourishing development at Sevenoaks.
