A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated, customer-focused and professional individual to join Harrow School. This new role will manage, support and represent our team of Matrons and be accountable for a range of key domestic operations including laundry and cleaning services.

The successful candidate will be a credible leader with extensive experience of operating at management level, ideally gained in a similar role within a school or university environment. In addition, applicants will have the necessary confidence and diplomacy to deal with colleagues and external contacts at all levels and have a hands-on practical approach to providing guidance and support to direct reports.

An awareness of Child Protection and Safeguarding issues is desirable. A clean driving licence and own transport is essential.

Harrow School is situated in Harrow on the Hill in north-west London. The School is located on a 324-acre estate which encompasses much of Harrow on the Hill and is one of the best-known schools in the world. Around 837 boys study at Harrow and live in the School’s 12 boarding houses. Harrow School is an independent boarding secondary school for boys aged 13-18. It was established, by royal charter, in 1572 during the reign of Elizabeth I.
