Smart Teachers is recruiting a Secondary Drama Teacher, for well-regarded Prep to 12 school situated approximately 3 hours north of Brisbane. The College offers a full senior curriculum and extensive co-curricular offerings in sport, the arts, community service and cultural pursuits. The school is looking for a highly professional and well qualified Drama Teacher. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, team player and student centred teacher.

  • Drama Teacher
  • Ability to teach either Religious Education or Home Economics is advantageous but not essential 
  • Commence ASAP until the end of 2017

About the Location:

The South Burnett is located on top of Australia's Great Dividing Range just two hours’ drive north-west of Brisbane, Australia and directly west of the Sunshine Coast. 

About You:

In order to be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria;

  • Be eligible to work in Australia (must have a visa)
  • Possess relevant tertiary qualifications in education
  • Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers 
  • Be willing to contribute to co-curricular life and the school community
  • Must be respectful of the school values and ethos
  • Possess and provide appropriate reference details and police clearances
