OBJECTIVES       

Wellington College Hangzhou is seeking an excellent DukeBox Presenter work as part of the team to deliver outstanding programmes to staff and students. The DukeBox Presenter

Within WCCH DukeBox is a hugely important educational tool which is promoted vigorously and used widely by staff, pupils, management and DukeBox staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As DukeBox Presenter, working alongside the DukeBox Manager, the key aims of this role (in HNH, HSH and WCIH) are:

1. To create and promote a shared vision amongst all stakeholders of the diverse range of high quality programmes, podcasts and other features which are available through the DukeBox portal. 

2. To help oversee and where applicable and directed to run and/or contribute to all shows, events etc. that may be open for viewing by any non WCCH staff members, parents, pupils and the general public.

3. To develop a range of educational podcasts that are used on an ongoing basis to include input from all stakeholders.

4. To promote DukeBox by working closely with marketing department to ensure that our listening base is growing rapidly over the year and targets for listeners are achieved.

5. To work with DukeBox Manager, theater technician and Facilities department to ensure that the DukeBox system is always working to the best of its ability. 

6. To closely follow any prepared SDP plans and contribute in future preparation of SDP planning.

7. To develop own skills and experiences to ensure smooth handover when/should the DukeBox Manager leave.

To create and promote a shared vision amongst all stakeholders of the diverse range of high quality programmes, podcasts and other features which are available through the DukeBox portal

• Working closely with other DukeBox networks in WCC and beyond.

• Work closely with FOW/FOH in order to establish DukeBox as a strong tool within WCCH community.

• To share programmes, programming and information about DukeBox to ALL staff so all can be involved where possible.

To help oversee and where applicable and directed to run and/or contribute to all shows, events etc. that may be open for viewing by any non WCCH staff members, parents, pupils and the general public.

• Take part regularly in shows and take opportunity to learn and develop from DukeBox Manager.

• Go on appropriate training and feedback on return.

• Visit other WCC schools to see what options are available and share good practice.

To develop a range of educational podcasts that are used on an ongoing basis to include input from all stakeholders.

• Develop clear list of podcasts and share with stakeholders.

• Share and meet with academic and non-academic staff to work out best use of podcasts for educational tool within WCCH. 

To promote DukeBox by working closely with marketing department to ensure that our listening base is growing rapidly over the year and targets for listeners are achieved.

• Monitor the quality of all DukeBox marketing and advertising.

• Report to SLT with DukeBox Manager monthly on all viewer/listening figures/data. 

• Work closely and meet marketing department regularly in minutes meeting to ensure strategy to increase and advertise DukeBox is strong.

To work with DukeBox Manager, theater technician and Facilities department to ensure that the DukeBox system is always working to the best of its ability

• Ensure systems are in place to store, promote and share all relevant DukeBox materials such as podcast library.

• Help develop a range of Chinese songs that are suitable for a bilingual school and our bilingual audience. 

To closely follow any prepared SDP plans and contribute in future preparation of SDP planning.

• Work with DukeBox Manager to ensure relevant yearly SDP plans are in operation and shared with SLT.

• Review SDP plans regularly and link to personal appraisal where possible.

To develop own skills and experiences to ensure smooth handover when/should the DukeBox Manager leave.

• Ensure personal appraisal KPIs are being followed closely.

• As part of appraisal, ensure CPD is ongoing, internal and external.
