Sir Herbert Leon Academy which opened in September 2012 and is part of Academies Enterprise Trust, the largest nationwide, multi-academy sponsor in the country. A Mixed Comprehensive for 11-19 situated in Bletchley, with an on-site, fully equipped Leisure Centre that serves our students as well as the local community.
As Duty Manager you will work on a shift basis with other members of staff overseeing the use of the Leisure Centre facilities, dealing with enquiries from members of the public and running sports and recreation programmes for the local community. You will also be required to undertake lifeguard duties and to deliver first aid as necessary.
In addition, you will support the Leisure Centre Manager in various aspects of the day to day running of the Leisure Centre.
Candidates must have an RLSS National Pool Lifeguard qualification or be able to attain one and preference will be given to those who hold a recognised First Aid qualification and CIMSPA Pool Plant Operator’s Certificate.
