Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our successful teaching team and to work in a local primary school in Wallsend, North Tyneside. The successful candidate will be working in an EYFS unit running phonics intervention groups with Nursery and Reception students. This is a part-time position working 8.30-15.30 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week.

This average-sized primary school has high staff morale, with a governing body that is committed to promoting progression for their Teachers.  School leaders have a clear vision for the school understanding areas of strengths and areas for improvement. Progress in Early Years Foundation Stage is good to outstanding so the school are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their existing team.

The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) will have excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and will be able to confidently delivered lessons and provide tailored support to groups of children in Nursery and Reception. To be considered for the position of HLTA you must:

· Have experience delivering lessons primary education at EYFS

· Hold Teaching Assistant Level 4 Diploma or above  

· Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team 

· Have previous experience running intervention workshops
