We are currently seeking an Early Years Class Teacher. Early Years in Dulwich College Beijing prides itself on its child-centered, holistic approach for all children from our 18 month Toddlers to Year Two children. We are able to do this successfully by offering small class sizes of 21 children or less, a very high teacher to pupil ratio, with very generous support for a range of abilities. Teaching Assistants are of a very high standard and are all bilingual. Children here have a thirst for learning and behaviour is exemplary. Parents at our school are very supportive and respect and value teachers highly. Teachers have a very generous amount of planning and preparation time. Professional development is heavily invested in and as part of a large school and group of schools we are able to offer unique opportunities for career development. Some appointments may carry a stipend for a responsibility post. We are looking for teachers who share in the belief that if children enjoy and have autonomy over their learning, they will become enthusiastic learners for life. Teaching Environment

The Early Years environment reflects both the quality of the teaching and the excellent resources we have available. All classes have interactive whiteboards, I-pads and laptops with Mac books for teachers. Our assessment tools include See-Saw for KS1 and Tapestry for the Foundation Stage. Our classrooms are exciting and creative centres of excellence with a strong focus on an enabling environment. When you visit our Early Years campuses at DCB you will see children highly engaged and learning actively through problem solving and creative thinking. Our curriculum is enhanced by using resources like Numicon for Maths and we offer specialist teaching in P.E., Chinese, Art and Music.

Dulwich College Beijing, established in 2005, is a dynamic, high-performing, co-educational independent school catering for 1460 expatriate children aged 1–18 from forty-five different countries across six continents. The College comprises three schools, each with its own Head teacher for Early Years, Junior School and Senior School.
