Smart Teachers is recruiting for an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join a fantastic pre-preparatory school based in North West London. The school is looking to appoint for a September 2018 start on a permanent contract. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher will be expected to plan and lead classes. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher will additionally be responsible for a set of 8 children in the morning and another 8 in the afternoon.

  • Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher 
  • Working with 2 – 4 year old children
  • September 2018 commencement
  • Will assume a full time, permanent contract
  • Expected to plan and lead the EYFS curriculum 
  • Will be responsible for up to 20 children throughout the day
  • Will be required to change nappies as it is not a requirement that children are toilet trained when they start

About the School

  • Formal Nursery and Pre-preparatory school which prepares children for the 4+ and 5+ assessment entry into leading preparatory schools
  • Curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage syllabus 
  • Located in Hampstead within walking distance from local Jubilee and Metropolitan Line stations 

In order to be considered for this role, the EYFS Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Must hold QTS, EYTS or EYPS Qualification 
  • Proven experience teaching the UK Early Years curriculum
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS / police checks
  • Experience in an independent school would be preferable
