Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in the Blyth area. 

This average sized primary school, where leadership is strong is looking for a committed and successful Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to work part time across the Nursery and Reception classrooms. Part time hours will include working varying shifts between the hours of 08:30-15:30, Monday – Friday. 

The successful Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant will have excellent knowledge of working with children in Early Years (EYFS) and will be utilised across both Nursery and Reception. The successful Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant will be supporting in both year groups, providing small group activities, as well as whole class support. Therefore the successful candidate will ideally have experience and knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. This position is expected to start in September and will be on-going. 

To be considered for the position of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant you must:

  • Have experience supporting children in primary education within Early Years (EYFS)
  • Hold a Level 3 qualification or above in childcare
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Primary School Staff
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
