Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in the South Tyneside area. 

This is a larger than average sized school where children are extremely safe and secure in school. They are taught exceptionally well to recognise risk and danger and are thoughtful and highly responsive to staff guidance. This school is looking for a committed and successful Early Years (EYFS) Teaching Assistant, to work full time in their Nursery setting. Full time hours will include working 08:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday. 

The successful Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant will have excellent knowledge of working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and ideally will have worked with children with SEND. This position is expected to start ASAP and continue through to July 2019. The successful applicant will be working on a one-to-one basis with a pupil supporting them with their daily activities. 

To be considered for the position of EYFS Teaching Assistant you must:

• Have experience supporting children in primary education within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare

• Have recent SEND expirenece within a school-based environment

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Primary School Staff

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
