Contract dates – Immediate start – permanent contract 

Smart Teachers is recruiting for an Early Years Manager to work full time at a nursery located in West London. This full-time position consists of 37.5 hours per week and will be on a permanent contract. The ideal Early Years Manager will have experience running a nursery and must have experience working with special needs children. This is a mainstream nursery with a significant number of children with additional learning needs. This Early Years Manager position is required for an immediate start. 

The role

• Early Years Manager 

• Immediate start 

• Full time position working with children from 0-5 years old. 

• Working with several children with SEN (special educational needs)

• Must hold a Level 6 Childcare qualification (or equivalent) 

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations within the nursery. 

• Managing a team of support staff 

• Liaising with associated external companies and parents.

• Permanent contract 

• Salary is £38,000 per annum. 

• 37.5 hours per week 

• Full comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding compliance.

• Nursery for children aged 0-5 years old.

• Significant number of children with special needs 

• Bright indoor and outdoor areas that were recently renovated to a high standard.

• The nursery has several qualified support staff working with the children. 

• Lively, busy nursery with a plethora of colourful games, toys, and artwork. 

• Large and welcoming outdoor space

• Small and supportive team 

• No parking available on site 

Requirements

To be considered for the Early Years Manager position, you will:

• Level 6 Childcare qualification 

• Have previous experience working within a nursery. 

• Must have experience with special needs and children with disabilities. 

• NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers are welcome to apply.

• Have strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
