Early Years Practitioner
Leicester High School is a leading independent girls’ school, for ages 3-18, located off the London Road in Knighton. We pride ourselves in offering a supportive, enriching and creative environment for our pupils.
We are looking to appoint a full-time Early Years Practitioner to cover maternity leave in the Early Years Foundation Stage Unit from January 2018.
The role involves being a Key Person in the Reception class: the daily setting up of the learning environments, planning for learning activities, delivery of small group learning sessions, a commitment to outdoor learning, observation and assessment of pupils, communicating with other staff and other duties to be specified.

Leicester High School is a well established day school for girls located on a beautiful site, near to Leicester racecourse. The School has been based on this site for over 100 years, close to the shops and restaurants of leafy Stoneygate. Our location is well connected with excellent road links and just two miles from Leicester train station.
Founded in 1906 as Portland House School, we now comprises a Junior Department of approximately 100 girls (3-9 years) and a Senior School of approximately 250 girls (10-18) sited on the same campus.
