The School

GIS São Paulo opens in  February 2019 and serves as an international school with a reasonable fee structure offering a premium education.  The  school offers a programme based on the IB- Primary Years Programme curriculum, while the Early Years department is inspired by the Reggio Children approach.

The position 

We are looking for a passionate teacher with vision and ambition to contribute to our new Early Years department.  Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills to navigate and cultivate our new learning community since its own foundation are essential.

They will be a passionate educator and a committed team player who demonstrates a collegiate and collaborative approach to working with others. 

They will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong and positive relationships with all of the school’s stakeholders.

Person Specification

Applicants must be qualified teachers, with an internationally recognised teaching qualification in Early Years and/or Primary education. 

Candidates should have a proven record of high quality teaching and learning and should have experience of teaching in an IB PYP school or should demonstrate a philosophy and approach clearly aligned to the Primary Years Programme and the Reggio Children

The ideal candidate will have the following requirements: 

English mother tongue

Be a dynamic, flexible team player with high level interpersonal skills and excellent organisational ability.

Caring attitudes and a balance personality 

Add value to our positive and motivated staff team, in order to give students the best possible opportunity for success.

Take a proactive role in initiating activities to enhance the wider life of school

Be open and willing towards professional development 

Remuneration Package
