ICS is looking to appoint an Early Years Teacher to join our young, cohesive and friendly team from August 2018. Our Foundation stage is one of the biggest areas of growth in the school, and a brand new, state-of-the-art Early Years Centre is soon to be built. The school’s entire methodology is rooted in the best global Early Years practice (#earlyyearsup), and this makes this role an especially exciting and important one.
Applicants should be UK qualified (or equivalent), and able to embody the school’s core values at all times. They should be optimistic, open-minded and collaborative, and always reflective on their own practice and how it can better meet the attitudinal and aptitudinal needs of each and every child. The successful candidate would work as part of a happy and dynamic team of Early Years teachers, supported by a skilled and committed team of Teaching Assistants, and pupil: teacher ratios are impressive. A full understanding of Reggio Emilia, and a child-led approach to planning and pedagogy is expected.
