Job overview

ABC teachers are looking to recruit a full time reception teacher from Easter half term (April 2018) to join this large 3 form entry school on a long term basis. The school is based in Acocks Green and you will be working with a large class of 30 pupils where you will be fully supported within the role by members of SLT and teaching assistants within the classroom. The school has an inclusive and supportive ethos across the school and caters for a high number of EAL pupils and you will be expected to plan and deliver in line with the schools curriculum.

The Head teacher is ideally looking for a patient and caring individual with excellent interpersonal skills who will provide a nurturing start to education. You will be joining an exceptionally hard working team; you must therefore have a good work ethic and be committed to the development and education of children. You will be organised, reliable and a good team player to liaise with the other teachers and team leaders.

The school are ideally looking for an NQT to work with them through the summer term; however both newly qualified and experienced teachers will be considered.

To register with us, all candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview, hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce on the Update Service and also gain references to cover the last 2 years. Please note that all teachers must hold valid QTS. For any Teaching Assistant roles you must hold an NVQ Level 2 or above, a relevant educational degree or a minimum of 3 months relevant experience within a UK school in the last 5 years.
