Job overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and versatile individual to undertake the role of Education Programme & Business Change Manager within Southampton City Council’s Education team.

You will have a minimum of five years’ experience working at a senior management level in an Education Service within a Local Authority. Experience of working on large capital projects, ideally within an Education Service, either as a Client Project Manager or similar is essential. You will be educated to a first degree level in a Business discipline. A project or programme management qualification (MSP Practitioner, PRINCE 2) is also desirable. You must have an extensive knowledge of all aspects of the Statutory and Regulatory environment underpinning the delivery of Education from a Local Authority perspective. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and hardworking individual looking to contribute to a large, innovative and fast paced team.
