Our client is a large Catholic secondary school for boys split over two campuses in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. The college has an enrolment of approx. 1,800 students from a large number of parishes in the northern suburbs. The core values of the college include pursuit of excellence, respect for self and others, compassion and service. The college provides many opportunities for students to participate in a wide range of co-curricular activities, including music, dance, public speaking and sports. They are strongly committed to the well-being and safety of their students with an effective pastoral care system. The college’s extensive Student Support Department specialises in helping students with special needs and provides substantial programs both in advanced placement learning and in enhanced learning.

 

About the Role: 

  • English and Hums Teacher 
  • The current load is English/RE however they are also open to other Humanities if available. 
  • Term 2 start. Availability to touch base for a handover prior would also be helpful. 
  • Full-time ongoing role 


Selection Criteria:

  • Be suitably qualified with an Education Teaching Degree (qualification must be recognised in Australia)
  • Be registered, or have the ability to be registered with VIT
  • Ability to provide current and relevant teaching references from Middle Management/Executive Leadership level (please note referees will not be contacted prior to your express approval, and all applications are treated in complete confidentiality)
  • Have the right to work in Australia
