Two International Schools in Greater Cairo, the International School of Choueifat-Cairo in Katameya (established in 1995) and the International School of Choueifat- City of 6 October in Dreamland (established in 2003), the City of 6 October in Giza . Both schools are members of the SABIS® Network, with multi-cultural staff and student bodies.
ISC- City of 6 October is close to another rapidly developing area. Phase I of this 60,000 sq. meter new-building was completed in September 2003 - comprises 3 classroom buildings, an administration building (including a two-storey library), a sports complex (incorporating a multi-purpose gym and a 25-meter swimming pool), a training pool for infants and juniors and an apartment building for staff. The track and field area (with 1 football pitch), volleyball/basketball courts and 2 tennis courts round off the Phase I facilities. The current student enrolment is 1396, representing 25 nationalities
ISC- City of 6 October is west of the Nile, near to the Giza pyramids and is about 30 minutes from Cairo’s city centre. It takes around 45-50 minutes to get to ISC-Cairo in Katameya.
