We are currently looking for a Middle School English Language Teacher to join the International School of London. This is a permanent part-time position (0.4 FTE) working over three days with the potential to grow to permanent full-time from April 2019.

The International School of London was originally founded in 1972 and was amongst the first schools in the country to offer the International Baccalaureate programme. There is a strong commitment to the on-going professional training of all staff and for providing leadership development at all levels.

You would work with our successful English and EAL departments to collaboratively deliver MYP English Language and Literature and English Language Acquisition  classes within the Middle School (Grade 6-10)

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Previous experience teaching English to Middle School Students

• Proven capacities to work with international students and understand the needs of  students for whom English is not their mother tongue

• Previous experience with the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) would be desirable, but not essential. 

• Degree level English qualification.

• Minimum CELTA, TESOL or equivalent.

An International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, they offer the Primary Years (PYP) and Middle Years Programmes (MYP) as well as the IB Diploma.
