Prestwich Arts College wishes to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and inspirational English Lead Practitioner, who has vision and commitment. In return you will be remunerated on the Leadership Scale L7 to L11 per annum. We are seeking an outstanding English Lead Practitioner, who will provide excellent teaching and learning across the full age and ability range. You will make a significant contribution to the English Faculty, you will continue its development, to achieve outstanding outcomes for our students.
As a Lead Practitioner, you will be a consistently good or outstanding teacher, with the results to prove it, someone who is ambitious and highly motivated to lead others. You will be an exemplar of teaching practice and with the support of the Deputy Head Teacher (Curriculum), you will lead the improvement for quality teaching across the school. As Lead Practitioner, you will do everything possible to raise the quality of teaching and learning in English and throughout the school, to continuously improve learning outcomes.
You will be joining a skilled and committed team of staff, who work with enthusiastic and positive students, who are keen to learn.
