Required immediately, Christ the King Catholic Voluntary Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative person to work alongside the hardworking and dedicated English team. The English mentor role will involve working with students on a 1-1 basis as well as working with small groups of students to offer targeted intervention to support students’ progress in English. The role may involve working within classes to offer support to students alongside the class teacher. 


Applicants must have a minimum of five GCSEs or equivalent which includes English and Maths. Higher level academic qualifications will be considered an advantage. Applicants must ideally have prior experience of working with young people, have strong communication skills and be able to demonstrate an ability to support students both in a pastoral and academic capacity.
