English Lit/Lang teacher

ICS Paris is an international school implementing the IB curriculum to develop international learners who will shape our world. Our students and teachers come from over 70 countries, forming a diverse community of learners.

For the next academic year our school requires a English Lit/Lang teacher

The successful applicant will be responsible for the implementation of the English curriculum and for the development of student learning in this subject area. Specific responsibilities include:

• Assessment of student work

• Constructive and timely feedback to promote learning

• Use of appropriate technology to enhance learning

• Development of a stimulating classroom environment to support learning

• The use of relevant materials to encourage real life contexts for learning

• Developing an inquiry mindset in our students

• Participation in parent evenings and collaborative planning meetings

The successful candidate should hold a degree in English and have experience working with the IB curriculum. They should be passionate about their subject and be able to inspire our students to develop a love of English.
