Your responsibilities:

You will be responsible for a class in our school based in La Celle saint Cloud, under the supervision of our Head of School.

For the next academic year, our school is looking for a English literature and arts teacher for the secondary.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of the English Literature and Art curriculum and the development of students' learning in this subject. Specific responsibilities include:

- Assessment of students' work

- Constructive and timely feedback to promote learning

- Use of appropriate technology to enhance learning

- Developing a stimulating classroom environment to support learning

- The use of relevant materials to encourage real-life learning contexts.

- The development of a spirit of enquiry in our students

- Participation in parents' evenings and collaborative planning meetings


Your profile

-You will be a team player, able to collaborate, take ownership and responsibility, as well as assess students and provide guidance and support where necessary. nd be aware of the complexities and opportunities of an international school.

- You have knowledge of education and understand the potential of very young children.

- You have a teaching qualification, knowledge and experience of secondary school and IGCSE/Brevet

- You will have excellent communication skills in English both verbally and in writing

- Ensure that students meet the needs and requirements of the IGCSE programme

- Demonstrate a collaborative approach to planning and leading initiatives.
